You look at the chaos in the world, at the things in your own life that refuse to work out, and you feel like someone up there is deciding who gets rewarded and who gets punished. The way Gili sees it, that is not how any of it works. There is no judge up there handing down sentences. There is only a mirror, and it gives you back exactly what you send out. Your reality is not happening to you. It is being built out of your own choices, one moment after another, and that is both what makes it painful and what hands you real control. The question is not why this is happening to you. The question is what you are broadcasting.

The truth

  • The Creator is not a being who hands down sentences. The Creator is a mirror that reflects our consciousness back to us exactly as it is.

  • Our reality is built out of free choice. That is the whole point of it, and it is also what makes it painful and powerful at the same time.

  • A single thought creates nothing on its own. Thought, feeling, speech and action all have to move in the same direction.

  • You cannot ask for abundance while acting out of a sense of lack. She says those are two contradictory messages, and the universe cannot make sense of them.

  • Her tools for drawing things into your life: know exactly what you are asking for, stay consistent between what you think and what you do, and let fear and doubt come up without clinging to them.

  • The way she sees it, there is no need to wait for perfect timing. The change happens now, not in some future.

Questions and answers

Why does Gili say that the Creator is like a mirror?

She describes the Creator as pure love that takes shape in front of each person according to who that person is. Not a man, not a woman, and not a judge who decides who deserves punishment and who deserves reward. The picture of God as a judge, she says, is a religious interpretation, not the truth itself.

Why doesn't it help when I just try to think positive so that my situation will change?

Because if thought alone created reality, every one of us would be harmed by every negative thought that crossed our minds, and that simply doesn't happen. What really invites things into your life is thought, feeling, speech and action working together, not one of them running off on its own.

What do you actually do to draw more good things into your life?

Three things. Clarity: knowing exactly what you want, with no vague answers like a good life. Integrity: making sure your thoughts, your words and your actions all speak the same language. And release: letting fear and doubt come up without clinging to them or identifying with them.

Gili keeps talking about integrity and coherence. What does that even mean? I don't really understand what she's getting at.

Coherence is a full match between a person's thoughts, words, choices and movement, so that all of them speak the same language. If you ask for abundance but act out of a feeling of lack, you are sending the universe two contradictory messages at the same time, and there is no synchronization between what you asked for and what you did.

How can real change happen in the world?

Change does not come from making war on the system. It comes when each person turns themselves into a mirror of the Creator, choosing authenticity, joy and healing for themselves first, and then letting it spread to the people around them. The more people who choose that way, the better the chance of creating a new world.

the Creator is not a man, and not a woman either. The Creator is a mirror. When you understand that, and I mean really understand it, your whole life starts to change. Most of us grew up on stories about a Creator who judges and punishes, and who also rewards you if you behave yourself. That is not the Creator. That is religion's interpretation of the Creator. The real truth is that the Creator is pure love that takes shape in front of each person according to that person. The principle of Creation is free choice, and so anything that feels to you like control cannot be true. As I said, this is a game of free choice.

The truth hurts, but it is also powerful: everything we see is a reflection of our own consciousness. All of reality is projected out of you. Reality shows us our real wants, whether on the personal level or the collective one, and let's just say that the state of the world is not exactly a chart topper: violence, corruption, scare tactics, wars, illness. All of it is a mirror of a humanity that is cut off from its Source. From the Creator. And this has nothing to do with religion.

Reality is our responsibility. We create through our choices, through our reactions, through the energy we put out into the world. The mirror never lies.

Our freedom of choice is in whether we want to change something or not. If more people choose authenticity, joy and healing, we have a better chance. One by one, each person for themselves and then for the people around them, that is how we will create a new world. Not by making war on the system, but by each one of us becoming a mirror of the Creator.

This is not magic and it is not coincidence. Our existence has a purpose, and there is also a way to switch on the divine gene.
