The conversation

You have a whole inner world that nobody really gets into, even when you're surrounded by people, even inside a relationship. Or maybe you learned back in childhood that you're loved when you're the good girl, and ever since then you give up what you really want so you'll feel accepted. The way Gili Man Wolner sees it, that's no accident: the birthday is the light you were given as a gift, and the month you were born in is the weight that comes with it and casts doubt on it, until you choose to work on it willingly, or life makes sure it comes through a crisis.

The truth

  • The birthday expresses the light we received from the Creator, and the birth month expresses the weight that comes with it and casts doubt on it.

  • January children develop a separate inner world and feel lonely even when they're in company.

  • January children develop a separate inner world as early as five or six, and they feel alone even in company or inside a relationship.

  • With January children that loneliness is often connected to an emotional disconnection from a significant figure in childhood.

  • February children have a strong need to feel accepted in the family, mainly with their siblings and their mother, and that's how they become the good children.

Questions and answers

In numerology, what's the difference between the birth day and the birth month? What does each of them say about me?

The birthday is the light we received as a gift from the Creator: the abilities we were born with. The birth month is the activation: the weight that comes with that light and casts doubt on it, until the moment we discover it again, and that happens only through the work and awareness we put in over the course of our lives.

Why do January children feel alone even when they're in a relationship or with friends?

January children start developing a separate inner world of their own back in childhood, with thoughts and interests they build on their own, so it's hard for them to share that world with anyone else. There's their world and there's everyone else's world, even when they're in a relationship with people.

Why do I still feel alone in it even when my relationship is good?

June children learned at home that they're loved and accepted for whatever is pretty and pleasant in other people's eyes, and not for who they really are. Their challenge as adults is to discover what they really love and want, beyond what's expected of them, and to be loved for themselves.

Why does my child, who was born in September, find it so hard to stick with any framework as he gets older?

Children born in September grew up without clear boundaries around time, so they developed the habit of doing only what suited them. That difficulty carries on into adulthood: when they had no clear framework themselves in childhood, it's hard for them to keep a framework in their adult lives.

What happens to children born in the month of August?

August children grow up in an atmosphere of expectation toward perfection and absolute excellence, and out of that they take heavy emotional responsibility on themselves for everything that happens at home, sometimes alongside coldness toward them, depending on the family circumstances.
